Visavvi’s Elliott Moores Wins AVTE’s Rising Star of the Year 2019

Our Systems Integrations Manager Elliott Moores was justifiably awarded the title “Rising Star of The Year” at the AVTE 2019 Awards held in London.

Celebrating the incredible achievements of innovative individuals, projects and technologies, this is a much-anticipated annual event, of which Visavvi were extremely proud to be a part of. From end-users to manufacturers, the Awards are established to give highly deserved recognition to those who have made a real difference within the AV industry over the last 12 months.

Group Technical Director Colin Etchells commented “It was an extremely proud moment for all the Visavvi team when Elliott was presented with the Rising Star of the Year award, which shines a spotlight on AV professionals aged under 30 who have pioneered hard work and in result enjoyed the thriving success that they have brought to their company.”

Elliott joined Visavvi in 2015 and has since gone on to transform engineering systems and processes within the company. Before this, he had worked in Australia to pursue a career in rugby whilst taking up roles with Kramer and Electroboard, where he delivered a number of significant projects across APAS and Australasia.

Colin continues “He has been instrumental in implementing changes for the installation and engineering teams and his forward-thinking leadership skills soon saw him promoted to installation manager. His infectious charisma has enabled Elliott to build numerous trusted relationships with our clients and is a natural born team-leader, instantly gaining respect from our teams.”

Elliott’s achievements during his time with us include development and implementation of internal integration and design standards, achieving CTS and PRINCE2 practitioner, developing training strategies for engineering teams and standardisation of installation materials across the business – to name a few.

He is a perfect example of how having a passion and enthusiasm for the industry can quickly move you forward. His entrepreneurial spirit and wicked humour are an inspiration to those colleagues and clients who work with him.

It goes with-out saying that this is a much deserved award for Elliott, and we thoroughly look forward to more successful developments in the future.
