“If every meeting is an opportunity to enhance your business, every LEO meeting room is an opportunity to enhance your reputation.” A powerful promise and one that London Executive Offices (LEO) applies to its exclusive portfolio of luxury meeting spaces in central London. Located in Kensington & Chelsea, Knightsbridge & Belgravia, Mayfair and Westminster to name a few, these exclusive office and meeting spaces deliver luxury meeting experiences, tailored to meet clients demand.
LEO’s latest development, Nova North on Buckingham Palace Road is another exceptional venue and required the latest innovative audio visual solutions to deliver this promise. As specialist system integrators and business collaboration experts we were commissioned to design and install the new technology.
Visavvi managed to take a difficult environment and successfully create spaces which truly inspire and encourage highly productive, collaborative and effective meetings for our demanding clients."
The project encompassed the creation of seven meeting rooms, a reception area plus informal huddle meeting spaces in a refreshment bar. Delivering a superlative experience from the moment of arrival meant that the technology solutions had to excel on all fronts, in quality, user experience and of course, reliability. The meeting rooms needed to be intuitive to use, allowing clients to seamlessly display content from any device. And, as with any modern meeting environment, they needed to cater for high quality video conferencing and collaboration via any of the virtual meeting platforms.
Welcoming clients, the reception area had to immediately impress, reflecting the venue’s position as a premier London business location. The refreshment and bar area needed to accommodate private huddle spaces, away from the chatter of busy social areas and provide high quality audio playback and sound reinforcement for the large imposing bar.
The first priority was to really understand LEO’s client requirements and consider their future technology trends. Following a detailed consultation between the LEO team and Visavvi specialists, the project deliverables were identified. Based on these core elements, our experienced solution architects then designed environments capable of delivering beyond LEO’s expectations.
With rooms being occupied by both regular and ad-hoc clients, a vitally important consideration was that all rooms presented an easy and intuitive environment to use, ensuring meetings could start on time, every time.
Technology across the seven meeting rooms included High Definition HDPro display screens in a range of appropriate sizes providing vibrant and superbly detailed images. Environmental and sustainability concerns were addressed by the screens powering off automatically when not in use. As clients may need to collaborate with remote participants, a Crestron Mercury collaboration solution was installed. Connecting their own device via a simple USB cable, Skype for Business allows two-way video and audio calls.
Simple, intuitive and highly effective control of the technology in the room is provided by a Crestron CP3 controller interfaced with an iPad tablet, providing a familiar interface for the majority of clients. To make some rooms even easier to use, a voice control system was implemented, allowing users to access the technology using simple spoken commands.
First impressions count. Greeted by an impressive twelve screen Panasonic videowall meant visitors are in no doubt as to the exceptional professional service they will receive at the Nova office. Arranged in a 6 x 2 format, the twelve 55’’ high definition monitors are controlled by a versatile Dexon 4 input 12 output processor, providing a wide range of input options and content flexibility for LEO.
A OneLan digital signage and content management system ensures screen content was easy to create, quick to update and always stayed relevant. The adjoining client waiting area benefits from an engaging Panasonic 98” large format display showing live TV feeds combined with relevant venue information, all controlled by a Exterity IPTV system.
An important communal space for LEO, the large refreshment and bar with its glass walls, hard surfaced floors, bars, mirrors and open structured ceiling provided an extremely challenging acoustic. It’s a space where audio can soon get lost and become indistinguishable. A carefully tailored sound reinforcement design was needed to overcome the challenges this space presents.
Derived from our experience of previously successful installations an Australian Monitor 4 channel audio amplifier with Biamp Testra Forte-AI digital signal processor and keypad provide LEO staff total control over the audio within the space. Superlative quality audio is provided by eight Work NEO 3 ceiling loud speakers combined with two Work Pro SA8 subwoofers providing a smooth, punchy sound with excellent clarity. The colour matched speakers seamlessly blended in with the environment retaining the luxury ambiance.
Delivered on time, on budget and designed within the architectural design of the space, the client was quick to appreciate the quality of the work undertaken by Visavvi. Matt Stackpoole from LEO commented “I was extremely impressed with the Visavvi engineers assigned to the project. Meeting extremely high standards and expectations, Visavvi have delivered an ingenious business collaboration environment beyond expectations.“Visit the LEO website
